The purpose of Considering Christian Ethics is to augment the classroom learning of students in Christian ethics education programs at local places of worship. This site is designed to equip Christians with materials they can use as they navigate life’s day-to-day ethical challenges, and to do this with minimal distractions. The information and resources found on this site come from an evangelical Christian perspective, as that is the position of the site administrator.
Considering Christian Ethics offers the following resources:
- A Resources page lists publications that will provide readers with a good introduction and overview of Christian ethics.
- An Issues page that lists books, articles, videos, and podcasts, arranged under the following groupings:
- Introduction to Ethics and Christian Ethics
- God and Ethics
- Moral Decision Making
- Loving Others
- Truth Telling
- Self-Care
- Creation Care
- Material Possessions
- Life and Death
- War and Peace
- Government
- Technology
- Human Sexuality and the Family
- A Blog that can provide information on contemporary ethics related matters in the news and elsewhere.
- A Forum where students in Christian ethics education programs can join together with fellow believers to discuss ethics related matters.
We hope this page is a help to you as you continue to grow and develop as a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and work to apply the Christian faith in daily life.
Stay tuned for information on when and where a Christian ethics education program is launched in your community.
